The Rainier Roller Girls (RRG) are an all-female flat track roller derby league based out of West Seattle, Washington. We are a small competitive travel team made of active skaters, retired skaters and volunteers. We believe all is possible with a little elbow grease, an amazing support system, and loyal fans.
In August 2011, a group of Puget Sound skaters spent the weekend camping, skating, and dreaming of an ideal league situation. September 1st, 2011 Rainier Roller Girls opened its doors as an official non-profit amateur sports league.
Today, the Rainier Roller Girls are a full WFTDA member. We are a skater-operated league providing a safe place to be a part of a competitive athletic program. We focus on fitness, mental game and fun for both the skater and fans. We aim to provide a positive impact in both the roller derby and Seattle communities.
Are you a veteran skater thinking about moving leagues, or a newer skater ready to league up?
A referee or non-skating official looking for more experience or to share your love of derby?
Rainier Roller Girls is always looking for new skaters, refs and officials to join our ranks. Email firstname.lastname@example.org to get in touch with us for more information. We look forward to having you on our team!
Since August 2011, Rainier Roller Girl's fans have grown exponentially and continues to increase every season. If you are interested in sponsoring RRG and advertising to our unique fan base, email us at email@example.com
Our team runs on dues from our members, funds raised through events, and donations from fans like you. Help us fund our bouts, away game trips, jerseys, track tape, even this website. Every donation is tax deductible (and will make you feel good). Rainier Roller Girls thanks you for your support in whichever way you want to show it!
